The Academy Programs

Kenpo-Jujitsu

Kenpo-Jujitsu is a martial arts style that combines the traditional circular fluid motions of Kenpo style Karate with the grappling techniques of Jujitsu to create a very effective fighting style that provides many advantages to your ground game.

This style is based on styles from the Polynesian and Okinawan lineage.
Other influences include Bodhidharma and Danzan Ryu.

Shin Gi Do Kids program

The Shin Gi Do Kids program provides youngsters from age 6 to 12 with a healthy fitness activity that helps build character as well as building self-esteem and discipline.

A Friday Nite Kicks event is scheduled every month from 6:-10:pm. A chance for parents to get a night out, and kids can join in to play organized games and activities in a safe supervised environment.

SGD offers a Summer Camp program every summer for one week.

SGD organizes other programs and events throughout the year; the Halloween Party is a favorite, and Christmas Skate Party, as well as trips to the beach in summer, and annual trip to Soak City.

Cardio Kickboxing

Cardio Kickboxing is a fast paced, intense cardio workout that includes muscles building exercises with weights as well as cardiovascular endurance through high repetition training done to energizing music.

Personal Training

Personal Training is also offered at Shin Gi Do for students who want to focus on improving their martial arts skills, or to work on improving specific skills.

SGD also has programs that can help you reach higher fitness, strength and endurance levels.

Get Fit Boot Camp

SGD Get Fit Boot Camp is offered several times per year. It is a fast paced, intense workout that includes cardiovascular endurance training and muscle building exercises. This class will definitely test you, and will help you reach a higher level of fitness, strength and endurance.

Submission Grappling

The submission grappling and MMA workouts at Shin Gi Do focus on the grappling techniques of Jujitsu. These workouts also include overall fitness training. SGD is a great environment to practice and work on your ground game.
